Does the water-holding float tank seem to run dry, causing the pressure washer to make a noise and have low pressure?
Possible Cause: This could be caused by the garden hose inlet screen on the water hose connection on the float tank having trash or scum build up, not allowing enough water to enter the tank and keeping it complete when the pressure washer is in use, or the water filter inside the large blue water filter housing is dirty and causing a restriction in the water flow to the float tank.
Possible Solution: Clean the Garden hose inlet screen or replace the water filter element in the blue water filter housing.
Why do I constantly add water to fill my Process Water Tank on this recycling system?
Possible Cause: Washing equipment away from or outside the wash pad area or sump collection area will prevent the water from returning to the sump and allow it to be reused. It can also cause the water to leave the wash rack completely.
Possible Solution: Move all equipment to be washed inside the containment area in the wash pad and make sure washing is done there to ensure water returns to the sump for system cleaning and reuse.
Wash bay water backing up?
Possible Cause: The Y-strainer screen is clogged, the wash bay sump and trough are full of solids, and the suction screen in the sump is covered in mud.
Possible Solution:
- Turn off the sump switch located on the biosystem control panel.
- Turn the ball valve off located near the top of the sump pump or in front of OWS.
- Remove the y-strainer top and clean out the screen.
- Remove the lid from the sump and check for solids.
- Reinstall the screen and open the ball valve.
- Turn the sump pump switch back on.
Does water in the system have an odor?
Possible Cause: Aerator not running? Bad water filter, tanks not flushed, ball valve on finish product closed, out of Microbes.
Possible Solution:
- Check that the Aerator switch is turned on at the control panel.
- Remove the water filter and clean or replace if needed.
- Flush all tanks.
The ball valve located under the system near the control panel need to be cracked open to allow water to flow back to the sump. To allow it to circulate back to the system. Replenish microbes and top off the jug with water.
Tanks overflowing?
Possible Cause: Obstruction in cross-over pipe, too much flow through sump pump valve.
Possible Solution: Reduce flow through the valve. Close the valve and open two turns. Adjusted if needed. Observed water flow. Water flow shouldn’t be climbing over system walls into other tanks. Inspect the pipe and remove the obstruction.
